IRIS Exchequer is short-listed in the Accountancy Age Awards
2009
21 Sept 2009
The IRIS Exchequer
Accounting Software solution has been named by Accountancy Age as a
finalist in its ‘Mid-tier Software Package of the Year’ Award for
2009. The news has delighted the IRIS Exchequer team who have
already won the award 3 times and been short listed on several
other occasions.
The nomination comes hot on the heels of IRIS Exchequer being
named the solution of choice of some 200 UK charities. In the
leading annual survey of charity software, IRIS came out on top in
the fiercely fought category of ‘recommendation’, polling an
incredible 92% of the vote for accounting software.
Significant investment by IRIS has resulted in the development of a
more intelligent, proactive, streamlined accounting solution that
further automates processes, drives efficiency and productivity for
the benefit of its users.
Paul Sparkes, Product Director for IRIS Accounting and Business
Solutions said “The key to our success is the deep customer and
market knowledge we have built-up over many years. The latest
edition of our flagship product is one of the most customer
influenced releases of recent times with over 50% of key features
coming directly from customer feedback.”
Through a combination of organic growth and acquisitions, the last
12 months have seen a sales growth with the Exchequer customer base
increasing by 36%.
81% of all new customers in the last 12 months stated their key
reason for selecting IRIS Exchequer is to gain instant access to
key information through better reporting including the Microsoft
Outlook Dynamic Dashboard. This feedback supports the investment in
the technical innovation of IRIS’ business intelligence tools which
are tailored to users’ needs - a clear differentiating factor of
IRIS Exchequer.
The winner will be announced at the annual Accountancy Age Awards
ceremony on the 18th November at Battersea Park Arena,
London.
